Absolute wonderful staff and doctors! We've take our children there and had nothing but excellent care!

I haven't had an issue really. They've been professional, understanding, and they listen. I moved over here from Lexington Clinic/St Joe and have not regretted that choice at all.

If you decide to go to this office, (we will not be going again) I would be very aware of what they are doing and QUESTION EVERYTHING!!!!! They obviously have no regard for their patients and in my opinion ran completely unnecessary and very expensive tests on my son without our consent.

Dr. Guilliams is a great choice for a primary care physician! Was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff, the fact that I could have labs done for my physical in the same building, and that even though Baptist is a large provider, it felt like a small-town practice. Appreciated that Dr. Gilliam was thorough and spent plenty of time. Most doctors are known for only spending about 5 minutes with patients, but that wasn't the case here.

What a terrible experience this has been so far. We took my son here for the first time about a month ago. He was suffering from a bad cold/flu. A month later we get a bill for almost $12,000!!!!! It was discounted to about $2500 by the insurance but still WAY more than we expected. We went in because he had been sick for just over a week! When I called to question the charges they went through a list of lab tests they performed on him (which by the way reviled he had a cold or virus, nothing more) and said that we had signed a "consent to treat" form when we checked him in. I argued that a consent to treat my son should not be viewed as a blank check! I never in my wildest dreams would think that the standard registration paper work you are required to sign when you walk through the door would give them permission to spend my money to that extent without so much as a mention that they were doing it. They further argued that what we came in for was not a regular cold or flu because of the symptoms we gave them. My memory is that his symptoms were a headache, upset stomach with some nausea, ache body including his legs, some constipation and he was tired. I find it hard to justify the barrage of tests he received based on a weeks worth of those symptoms. We were concerned about flu or possibly mono but those are not expensive tests that I am aware of. I went in expecting a copay and get a notice of $12,000 in tests?!

I have been going here for years and used to love the service. My experience today shook me. The nurse's aid was impatient and aggressive when I didn't give her immediate answers. She was upset that I might get a physical (a longer appointment) and convinced me to reschedule. They told me they had sent my prescription to the pharmacy but my pharmacist called twice and faxed without a reply. I left feeling worthless. Staff explained that my anxiety problems could be easily fixed through a nice walk. Sorry, give me my anxiety medicine. I won't be back.
