I've hunted all over the USA for whitetail and have had some wonderful hunts and some not so wonderful. As far as Whitetail Heaven Outfitters goes my family and I will return as long as the good lord allows!!!

What can I say about this place... it says 5 star outfitter as far as FREE RANGE DEER and food and lodging but as far as the owner guides and anyone that’s involved with it it’s 10 plus star with free range there’s only so much they can do to help you get your deer but whatever it is they do it if you need help with anything their right there to do it if you ever visit or even talk to them your a part of their family as with them especially family sticks together they go above and beyond to help you in anyway shape or form they can I recommend this to anyone we’ve been there 2 years in a row now and hope to come back as long as we can!!
So we return to all the fabulous stuff this season and I got lucky enough to take a buck of lifetime. I harvested a beautiful velvet buck that gross scored over 202". My son was able to make it two for two with the harvest of a 149" velvet 9pt.
This year was my families second hunting visit with Whitetail Heaven Outfitters. I really don't know where to start. When we drove up a winding driveway to arrive at the lodge we were blown away at first sight. So then we thought wow if lodge is this nice the hunting and rest of package can't hold a candle to the presence of lodge. Wrong!!! We was wrong. We walk in and greeted by a group of the friendliest folks ever. We made our way into the kitchen. This is where we met Hannah aka superstar cook. She had a spread that was all over the entire kitchen. So we mingled,eat some finger foods and got to bed with anxious thoughts about huge whitetail. Well there again we was thinking no way the hunting can measure up to our experience so far. Wrong!!! Yes we was wrong again. My son harvested a 167" buck last year and I passed several deer in the 150" range because I saw a stud first hunt. After such a wonderful experience in 2014 we booked immediately for 2015.
My dad and I have hunted with WHO three times now and have two hunts booked for next season. Every time we go we have a blast. The guides are great and deserve a ton of praise for putting up with my dad and I. They are more than accommodating and the deer hunting is second to none. This place has absolute giants. Anyone looking for a great hunt and an amazing experience needs to check these guys out!
I just completed my late season Muzzleloader hunt in December 2017. To say the least it was an awesome hunt with an awesome outfitter that works very hard to make your hunt successful. If I hadn’t killed a deer I would have left the same type review. I hunted at the West Camp in Battletown, KY. I actually think this camp centers more on hunting than any other camp they have. This lodge is a old elementary school set up very nicely as a hunting lodge. It was very clean and the food that Cedric cooked was excellent and seriously thought I would have to buy new jeans when I got home because of weight gain. I have to tell you this, when I say it was clean one day I came into camp and saw one of the cleaning lady’s that make up your beds every day and cleans the bathrooms every day, on her knees cleaning the baseboards and floors to make this old school camp as clean and presentable as possible. Now, onto the hunting. I can’t say enough about the guides and stands and trail camera pictures of big bucks. You would think that after rifle season and most stands and areas already having been hunted that you would not get a mature buck on camera. That was not the case. The Camp Manager, Richie and his guides, Sarah, Tony, Matt, and Jarrod, all that I had direct conversations and were guided by, have their ducks in a row, and all the T’s crossed and I’s dotted. They had a game plan and it worked more than I thought it would during the type of weather conditions we had. The one thing that impressed me most was when I went to my Guide and camp manager with a request he jumped on it and made it happen with out any sighs or sly comments. On my last sit, last day I harvested a true Kentucky monarch of a buck. He was an 11pt with a very rare triple main beam with a lot of character and scored in the mid 150’s. They called this deer “Boo Boo” and had months of history with this buck. Tony, my guide for that day had the stand I hunted in a perfect location in a block of timber as pretty as you will ever sit in. I can honestly say Tony knew exactly what was going to happen and actually told me about a sanctuary that was 150 Acres that does not ever get touched on this 1200 Acre farm. So, if you are thinking they are over hunting their land, that’s not the case. My deer actually came from that direction and Tony said he probably would. Well, enough of my babbling, all I can say from here is if you are looking for the best outfitter this side of heaven. Then look no further than Whitetail Heaven Outfitters. You will not regret your decision.
I just got back from my first trophy whitetail hunt and I was fortunate enough to get a very nice buck. The experience of the hunt, the quality of the accommodations, and the great food make me want to go back next year.
